Piñata Pitch is a competition where teams of students develop and refine innovative business ideas addressing real-world challenges. Over multiple online elimination rounds, participants gain critical feedback, sharpen their pitches, and compete to secure a spot in the finals. From January to June, these five months of work culminate in an in-person summit, held on June 7, 2025, where the top teams will present their ideas to a live audience of students, professionals, and industry leaders.

To participate in the Piñata Pitch, participants must complete an initial submission comprising two elements:
1. Introductory Video or Proposal Paragraph
The video should serve as a concise and engaging introduction to both the team and the proposed concept. It must include:
Videos are strictly limited to 60 seconds and must be submitted as a publicly accessible URL link. Submissions exceeding the time limit or that cannot be accessed will result in disqualification.
Teams are also allowed to submit a short proposal paragraph of roughly 300 words ****instead of a video. The requirements remain the same as those of the video. Any submission exceeding 350 words will result in disqualification.
2. Pitch Deck
This is the core of your pitch. If your idea is chosen amongst the top 15, these slides will be used when you present to our online judges on April 12, 2025. The pitch deck should effectively narrate a cohesive and engaging story that addresses. Your submission should include:
